About us

Fifteen growth rings, one belief: children learn best where they can get their hands dirty.

Founder's note

Why we started here

In 2011, Nature's World School opened with two classrooms and a vegetable patch in Chh. Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. We were tired of watching children memorise ecosystems from textbook diagrams when a real one was thirty seconds from the classroom door.

Today we run a full CBSE-mapped K–8 school, but the vegetable patch is still there — now a 6.2-acre working campus farm that anchors half our curriculum.

— Radhika Iyer, Founder-Principal

What hasn't changed

  • Class sizes capped at 22
  • Every grade keeps a growing plot on the farm
  • No worksheets before Grade 3
  • Teachers write report cards by hand, then digitise them
